Duodenal Ulcers

Dr. Robert Berger, Talks about the “Duodenum Ulcer”. What is a duodenum ulcer? An ulcer is an open sore, or lesion usually found on the skin or mucous membrane areas of the body. . An ulcer in the lining of the stomach or duodenum when hydrochloric acid and pepsin are present is referred to as a peptic ulcer. When the ulcer is in the stomach it is called a gastric ulcer. When the ulcer is in the duodenum it is called a duodenal ulcer. Gastrin is secreted by the stomach which relaxes the pyloric valve. If too much hydrochloric acid gets through the pyloric valve to the duodenum, then the rest of the stomach contents end up in the body cavity or at the least with an ulcerous lesion. A duodenal ulcer can be caused by too much HCL in the duodenal area.

Beijing Denies Bird Flu Outbreak- Woman Dies

A Beijing woman died from the bird flu virus, yet despite this Communist China’s denying there being any indication of an outbreak. The Ministry of Agriculture says experts found no trace of the deadly H5N1 virus after searching Tianjin city, where a 19-yar-old woman reportedly bought and gutted ducks before passing away. A spokesman was swift to say the case would be closed within seven days if no further evidence is found. This comes almost a year since China declared the bird flu had been eradicated. Experts believe this latest incident reveals holes in the surveillance of the virus. Part of the problem lies in that there are hundreds of millions of farmers who raise poultry in their backyards making surveillance difficult.
