400+ bed hospital in New York is seeking an RN/Performance Improvement Coordinator for the Department of Anesthesiology. The P.I. Coordinator will participate in performance improvement activities between the Department of Anesthesiology and hospital-wide Quality Management Department, the Risk Management Department, and the Utilization Review Department. The individual will also have participation in the departmental Performance Improvement program. Will also have involvement in the review and preliminary evaluation of department Performance Improvement data, including medical records and related materials. Will participate on Performance Improvement Committees, and will perform educational functions including the clinical supervision of student nurse anesthetists and junior professional staff, and provide in-service education to anesthesia personnel as required.
