Maryland Histotechnician 1635BX
Large laboratory company in Maryland seeks two histotechnicians for the night shift. The histotechnicians will perform routine and non-routine activities involved in the preparation of slides for microscopic examination by pathologists. The incumbent should be capable of performing all of the duties/responsibilities of a Histotechnician I/II and a Histotechnologist I.
Qualifications include: AA, AS or BS degree or equivalent training and experience; HT ASCP or HTL ASCP; 3 years experience as a Histotechnologist I; demonstrate knowledge of and can perform IHC testing; and qualification in Immunohistochemistry QIHC obtained through ASCP is preferred. Salary ranges from $18.98 per hour Min, $25.63 per hour Mid and $32.28 per hour Max with a 15% differential for the night shift.
