New treatment for PKD

New research has shown that there is new hope for Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD). Previous treatments only included dialysis or transplant but new research right has demonstrated another cure. Approximately 50% of those that have the genetic traits of PKD, pass it on to their offspring. These new treatments have nearly eliminated the disease in mice and there are now 2 small clinical trials underway.
