Georgia Infection Control Coord 807E
250 plus bed hospital in northern Georgia has need for RN with infection control certification to be responsible for direct oversight for the hospital Infection Control Program.
Facilitates communication among all members of the healthcare team, including physicians and community agencies. Acts as a consultant to the medical staff, and hospital professional and technical staff regarding infection prevention and control measures in order to coordinate safe delivery of patient care. Plans, develops and conducts educational classes, including infection control orientation for new associates and volunteers, blood borne pathogens orientation for hospital staff, infection control principles and isolation practices program. Salary range $55-65K neg plus relocation.
